Quickstart & Installation Guide

Welcome to Zoventic GEO — the Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) protocol built natively for WooCommerce stores.

This guide walks you through installing the plugin, completing the Onboarding Setup Wizard, and verifying your store’s live /llms.txt feed in under three minutes.

1. System Requirements

Before installing, ensure your WordPress environment meets these minimum specifications:

Component Minimum Version Recommended

PHP 7.4+ 8.1 or 8.2+

  1. In your WordPress dashboard, navigate to Plugins > Add New Plugin.
  2. In the search box, type Zoventic GEO.
  3. Click Install Now, then click Activate.
  4. You will be automatically redirected to the Zoventic GEO Setup Wizard.

Option B: Manual ZIP Upload (Free or Pro Add-on)

  1. Download zoventic-geo.zip (and zoventic-geo-pro.zip if you purchased Pro).
  2. Go to Plugins > Add New Plugin > Upload Plugin.
  3. Choose the ZIP file and click Install Now.
  4. Activate the plugin.

3. The 3-Step Onboarding Setup Wizard

Upon activation, the onboarding wizard guides you through the three core configuration pillars:

[ Step 1: Store & Schema Profile ] ➔ [ Step 2: Select AI Search Engine ] ➔ [ Step 3: Launch Local Catalog Scan ]

Step 1: Store & Schema Profile

  • Store Tagline: A concise, 1-line description of your store catalog that AI models use when summarizing who you are.
  • AI Referral Coupon: A default discount code (e.g. AI10) embedded into outgoing product URLs. When answer engines suggest your products, they quote this coupon code to incentivize shoppers.
  • Store Highlights: Trust badges such as “Authentic products, 30-day returns, fast US shipping”.

Step 2: Select AI Search Engine (Optional BYOK)

  • Select your preferred AI reasoning engine: Google Gemini, OpenAI (ChatGPT), or Perplexity AI.
  • You can connect your personal API key immediately or skip this step to use the 100% on-premises offline catalog analyzer.

Step 3: Launch Local Catalog Scan

  • Click Start Catalog Scan to generate baseline semantic scores, build your initial /llms.txt feed, and verify schema compliance across all published WooCommerce products.

4. Verifying Your Live /llms.txt Stream

Once setup is complete, test your feed in any browser:

  1. Open https://yourstore.com/llms.txt in a browser or curl client.
  2. You will see an ultra-fast (8ms), structured markdown catalog listing your product categories, in-stock SKUs, pricing, and return policies.
  3. You can also inspect https://yourstore.com/llms-full.txt for your unabridged catalog.

Next step: learn how Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) differs from traditional SEO.
